Job description
As a Plant Operator you are responsible for the Beumer parcel sorting and baggage handling machines at the customer location. You ensure that the technical systems work well and their very high availability is guaranteed. You do scheduled maintenance and repair faults. You also supervise the installation and you immediately coach the operators. You never actually stand still; when the machine runs properly, you ensure that you are aware of everything that happens around your machine. You analyze everything! Suddenly you get a fault report within which you have to use the hotline with Denmark. Your English comes in handy here.
You are not only busy with large machines, but you also replace the lighting or sockets when necessary, or you repair a door. You keep a clear administration of what you use for which job and what is in stock. Is the supply of spare bulbs suddenly too small? Then you just order new ones at the head office.
Тraining
During your job as a Plant Operator you will also follow courses for which you have obtained certificates for 2 years! In these courses you will become acquainted with the various maintenance activities that you carry out as a Plant Operator. Among others, electricity, mechanics and automation are discussed.
Working days and times
As a Plant Operator you work 36 to 40 hours per week. You work in a shift. You have to take account of irregular working hours. But do you work that early service, then you have great free time in the afternoon!

What we ask for
- At least an MBO diploma; (towards electromechanics, electricity, mechanical engineering, electronics is an advantage);
- Technical affinity;
- You have a driving license B;
- You speak and write Dutch and English.
